Surrounded by vineyards and plum orchards, the Grand Roche was originally a Cape Dutch homestead dating back to the 18th century. Now immaculately and sensitively restored to maintain its historic feel, the hotel offers a variety of elegantly luxurious accommodation coupled with majestic views of the Winelands, award winning dining, excellent service and warm hospitality. The colour palate is one of soft muted shades – chic and understated yet modern and comfortable.
The hotel comprises of 35 well appointed, air conditioned Executive Rooms and Terrace Suites plus a Honeymoon Suite/Presidential Suite. Each room type also has underfloor heating and is equipped with mini bar fridge, satellite television and tea and coffee making facilities. The Terrace Suites also enjoy a front terrace overlooking picturesque Paarl vineyards and the Honeymoon /Presidential Suite has its own Jacuzzi and private roof terrace.
