Londolozi Granite Suites.

Londolozi Private Game Reserve is situated within the Sabi Sand Reserve, to the west of The Kruger National Park. There are no fences along the 50km border between the Sabi Sand and The Kruger allowing the wildlife to roam freely with their historic natural migration patterns undisturbed. Access is conveniently served by daily light aircraft flights from the central hub of Johannesburg.

The Sabi Sand Reserve is not open to the public ensuring that there are very few game viewing visitors by comparison and each of the private game reserves contained within it enjoy traversing rights over a specific area – however, Londolozi is one of the very few that has exclusive rights giving its guests absolute privacy. The result is a complete luxury safari experience. There is abundant wildlife, including the Big Five, located in a pristine wilderness with luxury lodge accommodation that operates with a strong commitment to local communities and local projects.

Within Londolozi there are four camps, all within walking distance of each other, but there is just one private, luxurious suite accommodation called The Granite Suites. There are just three private suites which can be booked individually or, for the ultimate private safari experience, on an exclusive basis ideal for a family or small intimate group. Guests the age of 16 years can only be accepted if the suites are booked on this exclusive basis.

The very spacious suites have been constructed and furnished in contemporary style yet they still remain integrated with the dramatic surrounding nature. The stylish and comfortable furnishings and fabrics use a colour scheme that takes its cue from the granite rock itself – muted greys, soft browns and white extending to all rooms. No detail is overlooked and it oozes quality.

Space and light have been given as much priority as privacy for the guests with large windows and doors opening on to private decking in front of the Sand River. Each suite also enjoys its own private, heated swimming pool for total relaxation and refreshment from the heat and dust of the day. Excellent food and exceptional service is enjoyed at the central dining, bar and relaxation area on a deck over the river.

Londolozi is fortunate enough to boast a team of passionate and knowledgeable rangers and trackers including two of South Africa’s Master Trackers. Special emphasis is given to photographic opportunities and the many years of experience will engineer the game viewing vehicles into a position advantageous for the best shot.

In addition to the superb game viewing activities guests can enjoy wilderness trekking, clay pigeon shooting, trail running, day walking expeditions and fishing together with community visits. At Granite Suites much consideration is also given to rejuvenation of mind, body and spirit. To aid the ultimate relaxation – massage, yoga are available as well as a well equipped gym.

Overall, this is exceptional accommodation with truly splendid game viewing which will create the most wonderful memories of a South African Safari.
