Opulent Africa has always been committed to maintaining the accuracy, confidentiality, and security of your personal information. We have established Privacy Principles to govern our use of customer information.

Opulent Africa does not sell, share or distribute Customer Information to any third party organization. Our only exception to this rule is that we supply information to our partners in Africa whom are involved directly in your travel arrangements. In this instance they would receive the names of those in your travel party, ages and medical or dietary requirements. Under no circumstances are any financial details, work or home addresses, telephone numbers or your personal I.D information supplied to any third party.

Accountability
Opulent Africa is responsible for maintaining and protecting customer information under its control.

Identifying Purposes
The purposes for which client information is collected shall be identified before or at the time the information is collected.

Consent
The knowledge and consent of the client are required for the collection, use or disclosure of customer information except where required or permitted by law.

Limiting Collection
The customer information collected must be limited to those details necessary for the purposes identified by Opulent Africa.

Limiting Use, Disclosure and Retention
Opulent Africa protect their clients by limiting the use, disclosure and retention of any client personal details. Client information is only be used or disclosed for the purpose for which it was collected. Unless expressly requested by the client or when it is required by law. Sensitive and Financial Client information is only retained for the period of time required to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected. For example, if you pay using a Credit Card these details are destroyed immediately after processing.

Accuracy
Opulent Africa prides itself in the accuracy of its travel files and client data. Information is maintained in as accurate, complete and up-to-date form as is necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it is to be used.

Safeguarding Customer Information
Opulent Africa temporarily stores information on its own securely protected server. However personal information such as names, addresses, passport information, financial details supplied by you for payments and travel arrangements, is not stored electronically. Once your travel is complete your file is physically archived containing only your undertaken travel itinerary and correspondence pertaining to its arrangement. We retain only your name and contact information in order to contact you in the future with any offers that we think may be of interest to you. All emails sent by us have an ‘opt out’ button which will cancel and remove your email from this list.

Openness
Opulent Africa is required to make information available to clients concerning the policies and practices that apply to the management of their information.

Client Access
Upon request, a client shall be informed of the existence, use and disclosure of their information, and shall be given access to it. Clients may verify the accuracy and completeness of their information, and may request that it be amended, if appropriate.
