Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe – Gateway to Uganda

Touch down at Entebbe International Airport, where your East African adventure begins.  Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your accommodation for the night, Protea Hotel by Marriott, a stylish and comfortable retreat with stunning lake views. Enjoy a relaxed evening.

Days 2 to 4: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest 

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for a scenic light aircraft flight to Kisoro, offering breath-taking aerial views of Uganda’s rolling hills and misty landscapes. Upon arrival, a private transfer will take you to Nkuringo Bwindi Gorilla Lodge, your luxurious retreat for the next three nights, nestled on the edge of the legendary Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.

A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Bwindi Impenetrable Forest is one of Africa’s oldest and most biologically diverse rainforests, home to nearly half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas. Over the next three days, you will experience the magic of this extraordinary wilderness through a variety of immersive activities:

Day 5: Journey to Arusha 

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Entebbe, where you will connect with a scheduled flight to Kilimanjaro. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by your guide and transferred to Arusha Coffee Lodge, a tranquil retreat nestled within Tanzania’s lush coffee plantations.

Days 6 to 7: Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for a light aircraft flight to Manyara, where you’ll be greeted and embark on a private game drive through the stunning Lake Manyara National Park. This park is known for its diverse landscapes, including the famous soda lake, lush groundwater forests, and expansive grasslands, all teeming with wildlife. Keep an eye out for the park’s famous tree-climbing lions, as well as giraffes, elephants, flamingos, and hippos, which call the park home. After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airstrip for your light aircraft flight to the Northern Serengeti, a pristine and remote corner of Tanzania’s iconic Serengeti National Park. Upon arrival, you’ll be met by your guide and transferred to Serengeti Bushtops, a luxurious camp set in one of the finest game-viewing locations on Earth. Spend the next three nights here, immersed in the beauty and wildlife of this incredible region.

The Northern Serengeti is renowned for its role in the Great Migration, where millions of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles travel across the plains in search of fresh grazing. If you are visiting during migration season (typically between July and October), you’ll have the chance to witness the Mara River crossings, where large herds face dramatic challenges posed by predators and the river’s crocodiles.

During your stay you will enjoy incredible game drives. With expert guides and eagle-eyed spotters, you’ll embark on early morning game drives to observe the diverse wildlife, from predators like lions, cheetahs, and leopards to herds of elephants and giraffes.
