Days 1 to 2: Volcanoes National Park

On Day 2, enjoy an exciting day of gorilla trekking. You’ll begin with a briefing at the park headquarters, where you will be assigned to your trekking group. Once your trek concludes, you will be transferred back to the lodge. Day 3: Kigali

After your morning activity, you will be privately transferred to Lemigo Hotel in Kigali for an overnight stay.

Today offers you the opportunity for a second gorilla trek, a golden monkey trek, or a hike to the location of Diane Fossey’s original research centre—a fascinating historical site where you’ll learn more about the life and work of the legendary primatologist. After your excursion, you’ll return to Kigali, where you can enjoy a city tour. Visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial, a poignant and educational experience that offers a deeper understanding of Rwanda’s past. Afterward, the train departs Kimberley and heads south, traveling overnight via De Aar and Beaufort West to reach Matjiesfontein. In the morning, you will be privately transferred to Kruger Airport to board a scheduled flight to Livingstone, Zambia. Upon arrival, you will be met at the airport and privately transferred to the Victoria Falls Safari Lodge for a three-night stay. This lodge offers a fantastic vantage point to view the spectacular Victoria Falls and is a perfect base for your exploration of the area.
